I think at one point or another in our lives we can relate to the fact that parts of our life did not quite go the way we thought they would.
Just know that life's moments and milestones are all part of this journey of life. Despite our best efforts and work towards our goals sometimes they do not work out for one reason or another. I think our success in life is determined by how we recover from these times.
In my new book Gift: Living Inside Out Chapter 13 Finding Meaning in It All. I cover these types of life circumstances. Life can throw us curve balls from time to time. Learning how to react and move forward in these times is crucial to living a productive and meaningful life. Having a positive attitude helps keep you in motion and helps you to stay nimble while bobbing and weaving in the boxing ring of life.
I have found in my life's journey that if something that I am pursuing feels as though I am forcing it and it seems like it is just not coming easy for me, I use that as a warning that this may not be meant to be in my life. It seems when my path moves with ease, and everything falls into place that is usually a good sign that this is a good area for me to pursue.
Learn from the tough times and move forward with the knowledge and wisdom gained for your future life. When you are going through a tough time or through something that you did not see coming, don't just GO through it GROW through it. These times are not times of feeling like a victim. These times can be periods of tremendous growth and better you as a person. Having experienced life on both spectrums will give you an advantage moving forward. These times teach us humility and grace. These tough times along with the good times will provide you with confidence moving forward in your life.
None of us goes through life without struggle or failure to some degree. These times in life balance our life experience. They say life's a journey. These times that don't go as planned help "get you through" down the road in your life.
When you go through life with this mindset, you will learn from the tough times and live your best times with a deeper more appreciative level filled with love and gratitude.
For believers we know it is not our path, it is His path that we fulfill in life. He will always make a way when it seems there is no way.
"And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans." (Romans 8:28 TLB)
